Testing
At Flux we test our sites fully to find all accessibility issues.
- Validate the HTML and style sheets using the W3C's Validator.
- Test using an automated accessibility tool and browser validation tool.
- View in a text-only browser, such as Lynx or Lynx Viewer.
- Test in multiple graphic browsers and several old and new browsers, IE, Netscape, Opera etc.
- Use a self-voicing browser, such Home Page Reader, a screen reader, such as JAWS, HAL etc.
- Perform a spell and grammar check.
- Review content and structure for clarity and simplicity.
- User testing with people with disabilities.
- Expert and novice users with disabilities will provide valuable feedback about accessibility or usability problems and their severity.
